Good Evening Talley Families, 

First and foremost, thank you to everyone for their patience as we begin the school year. Your understanding, given the challenges with the transition from Eschool to Infinite Campus, has been greatly appreciated. THANK YOU for assisting us with starting the year off well. We know that the unknown is uncomfortable, so thank you for bearing with us as we work to get you the best information that we have to make your student's transition or return a successful one.

Here are some additional ways that families can support a smooth morning and afternoon transition for their students:

1. All cars should enter through the Ramblewood neighborhood entrance off of Naamans Road at the traffic light.
2. Remain in your car. There is no need to park and walk your student in. Please allow your student to exit your vehicle and follow the staff direction to exit. We have limited staff parking, so please DO NOT park in a back parking spot. This allows us to ensure that teachers can get to work on time to support our students
3. Follow the direction of the carline staff. There can be students who need to cross the street or a car out of your line of sight; please allow them to help you navigate the busy transition times. 
4. Please communicate with your student if there is a change. If you need, give the main office a call so we can help support. Please do so as early as possible, so that we can ensure your student gets the information before dismissal.
5. Make sure your student knows how they are getting home. If you are still waiting for transportation information, make sure that your student knows the plan for pickup. 

Day 1 with just 6th-grade students was one for the record books in the most positive ways possible. We are excited to have the entire Talley community together for another amazing day. Rest up and charge your Chromebooks.
